The Partnership understands that during this time when many people are staying home for their safety that those who are living with a partner or family member that is abusive are living in a very dangerous situation. It is important to know that you are not alone! There are many resources available to assist you. The Partnership can still assist you with protection orders while practicing social distancing. The agency has a hotline that is open 24/7, dial 740-947-1611, after 4pm daily a recording comes on, Option 1 will send you to the Victim Advocate on duty, Option 2 will send you to the Sexual Violence Victim Advocate. Abusers thrive on the power and control that this pandemic has amplified. Those who are forced to stay in an abusive environment need to know that help is available.
